Pictures of the Christmas 2004 Big Snow

Not good!171 viewsThis young buck got caught in a hog trap, a good reason to check hog traps at very regular intervals and to keep openings as small as is reasonable. He was quickly release unharmed, except for his pride and a heck of a fright. He was a slow learner though because he hung around that trap for several days afterward, and we saw him in it once more but he did not trip it, and we had to keep the trap closed and unused until he finally quit coming around.
