Burn Trailer Calendar
TOWMA has two burn trailers available for rent that contain most of the equipment needed to conduct a prescribed burn with the exception of vehicles.
One trailer (TLR 1) is staged in Victoria, Texas, the other (TLR2) is staged at LaGrange, Texas. Both trailers are reserved on a single availability calendar on the Coastal Bend Prescribed Burn Association website. To rent/reserve either of the trailers, click the link below and check the calendar to see if the trailer you need is available on the date you need it.
If the trailer you want is available phone or email Larry Jones at 361-362-0430 or ljones@towma.org. Specify the trailer you need, the date(s) you want it, and provide your contact information. He will enter the reservation into the calendar and have the person in charge of the trailer contact you with pick up details.
CHECK TRAILER AVAILABILITY
Rental rates are $100 for either one or two days (which allows for 1 burn day and a pickup/return day) and $50 for every additional day, or portion thereof, calculated from the time of pickup until the trailer is returned. Users must show proof of insurance before towing the trailer (check your auto insurance policy) and are responsible for any loss or damage sustained by the trailer or the equipment while in their possession.
